1     Client Workstation

The client component of the application runs from a web browser or directly on the user’s workstation using Java smart client technology.

The minimum recommended specifications of the client workstations are:

·         1GB RAM

·         1GHz CPU

·         20 GB Hard Disk

·         Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Linux, Mac OSX 10.5

·         Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 2.x+ or Safari web browser

·         Java 1.6 JVM

·         Video card capable of 1024x768 screen resolution

2     Database / Application Server

Both the server component of the application and the database can run on the same server.

The recommended specifications of the application server are:

·         4 GB RAM

·         Dual Core 2 GHz CPU

·         20 GB Hard Disk (this will depend upon the amount of data being stored within the database)

·         Windows 2003, 2000 Server or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 or 5 Operating System

·         Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 2.x+ or Safari web browser

·         Java 1.6 JVM

·         Oracle RDBMS 10g R2

·         Apache 2.2.x
